Get your students into top mathematical shape with Mathercise!
Jump-start your math class with these copymaster activities. Mathercise is the perfect way to get students on task at the beginning of the period. Each of the 50 activities is designed to take only 10 minutes, and is therefore compatible with nearly any curriculum and schedule.
Each Mathercise takes ten minutes and includes one reasoning exercise, one solving exercise, one sketching or graphing exercise, and space for a review exercise of your own design. The solving exercises involve percentages, algebra, equations, averages, proportions, probability and, in books D & E, functions and analytic geometry.
Each 64 page book includes teaching tips, sample problems, answer keys, and reproducible answer sheets. Pages are perforated and three-hole punched for easy use.
Mathercise - Book A: for middle school and high school students not yet taking algebra.
Mathercise - Book B: for middle and high school students taking pre-algebra, algebra or a first-year high school mathematics course.
Mathercise - Book C: for students taking algebra, geometry, or a second-year high school mathematics course.
Mathercise - Book D: for students who have taken a year of algebra and are taking geometry, advanced algebra, or a second or third-year high school mathematics course.
Mathercise - Book E: for students who are taking advanced algebra, pre-calculus, or a third or fourth-year high school mathematics course.
