MathType is the intelligent mathematical equation editor for Windows and Macintosh. Using MathType in conjunction with word processing, presentation programs, and HTML authoring software, you can easily create tests, worksheets, and web pages. Creating an equation in MathType couldn’t be easier – you just click on templates and symbols in the on-screen palettes, and type into empty slots.

Automatic Formatting

Unlike other equation editors, MathType understands mathematics and applies the rules of mathematical typesetting as you type. It automatically chooses fonts, style, spacing, and position as you enter the equation. Plus, you can always override the automatic formatting controls to suit your taste.

Comprehensive Collection of Math Symbols

MathType comes with hundreds of mathematical symbols and templates – fractions, radicals, sums, integrals, products, matrices, various types of brackets and braces – you name it! You can also use any character from any font installed on your system, including Bradford’s Math/Science font.
