Problem Solving is a series of five software programs offering practice and remediation in specific content areas. Using a variety of problem solving strategies, these packages reinforce the need for understanding mathematical concepts and mastering computational skills. The titles available are:
Each program consists of 20 problems covering five specific objectives for a total of 100 problems per title, and includes a cumulative test. Students are given two chances to answer the problem; reinforcement and remediation are provided as needed, an explanation of the problem can be accessed, and an optional on-screen calculator is available. A management system records students’ progress on the cumulative test.

- finding patterns
- eliminating extraneous information
Addressing NCTM Standards, the Problem Solving series explores real-world problems and concepts such as measurement, geometry, and spatial sense as settings for using and mastering basic computational skills.
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
With the Teacher Utility, you can create a management system that records and tracks student performance on Cumulative Reviews. By recording student scores in this student report filing system, you can better identify each student’s individual needs and strengths.
