PRACTICE MODULE
At any time, a student may leave the lesson mode and move to practice and/or test exercises where questions are randomly generated. While working with practice questions, students are given immediate feedback after each answer they provide. Test questions are checked after the test is finished. The program administers and marks both practice questions and test that are teacher customizable.

PROBABILITY TOOL
This tool was designed to have students conduct their own experiments and record and analyze the results. Using the speed, power, and random generation capability of the computer, students can conduct many iterations of experiments quickly, saving valuable class time and making the experiments realistic from a statistical point of view. THere are four different tools provided:
- Cards
Randomly deals up to 10 hands (at a time) of up to 7 cards each (with a maximum total of 52 cards).
- Candy
Draws up to 5 candies from
1-5 different kinds in a jar. Allows 10 different draws per experiment.
- Coins
Flips as many as 10 coins, up to 10 times each and reports the results.
- Dice
The dice tools allow the student to choose the number of sides, the number of dice per roll, and a target sum. Students can roll up to 100,000 times, and the program provides both the experimental and the theoretical probability of achieving the target sum. The tools also report the outcomes when you roll as many as 10 dice at a time, up to 10 rolls per experiment.
Supplementary activities use the Probability Tool component of the program to focus on student experimentation. Many of these include a theoretical component designed to illustrate the connections and distinctions between experimental and theoretical probability. Be creative and develop your own classroom activities using the Probability Tool.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES
Included in the manual are twelve Probability activities designed to provide additional applications and opportunities to practice concepts and skills addressed in the software. Activities encourage student experimentation using the Probability Tool.
